<p>PURPOSE:To perform smooth capacity change by reducing the frictional force of width across flat parts used as a part of mechanism for connecting a driving shaft to a cam plate in a cam plate type variable capacity compressor. CONSTITUTION:In an existing cam plate type variable capacity compresor, one piston coming in.the direction of width across flat parts for tilting a cam plate body is provided with the top-bottom dead center, that is, the maximum stroke position, but the action point of resultant force of the whole load acting upon a cam plate is in the position shifted from the direction of the width across flat parts. The moment of pinching force is thereby generated to the width across flat parts, so that the frictional force of the sliding face to a cam plate guide is increased to hinder the tilting of the cam plate for discharge capacity change. In this invention, a cam plate support part 39 is therefore fitted in such a way that the width across flat parts ate deflected so as to face the direction of the action point of the resultant force, thus suppressing the generation of moment. This is the same as twisting the cam plate body 38 around an z-axis. The same effect can be obtained also by providing the width across flat parts 36 on the side of a driving shaft 7.</p> |
