FUSED PART HOLDER OF OPTICAL FIBER AMPLIFIER

摘要

PURPOSE:To miniaturize an optical fiber amplifier by reducing the occupying area of fixing points at the time of fixing the fused parts of the optical fibers on a substrate as far as possible. CONSTITUTION:This fused part holder has plural holding blocks 4 shorter than the fused parts (s) of the optical fibers. The respective holding blocks 4 are arranged in parallel with each other by having prescribed intervals and clamping means 6 having spring elasticity are erected to face the wall surfaces of the respective holding blocks 4 between these blocks. While grooves 4c to be fitted with the fused parts (s) are formed at plural upper and lower points of the wall surfaces of the respective holding blocks 4 facing the clamping means 6, pressurizing projections 6c are formed in discrete correspondence to the fitting grooves on both sides along the holding blocks 4 of the clamping means 6 toward the respective holding block 4 sides.
