ELECTRIC MOTOR WINDING MANUFACTURING PROCESS

FIELD: electromechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: process involves continuous winding of insulated wire to obtain winding with first set of turns wound in first direction and second set of turns wound in second direction opposing first one, and flattening of winding to obtain double-layer flat band wherein peripheral portion of first set of turns covers respective diametrically opposite peripheral portion of second set of turns. Multiphase field winding may be manufactured by winding set of insulated conductors to form set of groups of adjacent winding sections; each group is wound in periodically varied directions to produce elongated winding in assembly. Then this winding is flattened and flat double-layer band obtained in the process is coiled up to obtain cylindrical structure with butt-joined ends. EFFECT: enlarged functional capability.
