Installation for synchronised incorporation of lateral moulds on platforms for manufacturing polyurethane foams. It consists of an arch 12 to which the lower mould 5 gains access on a foaming table 1 of a very low height on which is fitted a lifting mechanism 10 which acts on a transverse bar 14 with angled sections 16 and 17 at its ends permitting connecting, to the lateral flanges 9 and 4, of the cylindrical half-moulds 6 that supplement the lower and also cylindrical mould 20 when cylindrical blocks are desired or of single side panels 3 when square blocks are desired. <IMAGE>
