A rectifier modular unit (26) is fitted on the back facing of a three-phase alternator's (10) end plate (12). PLUS and MINUS cooling units with PLUS or MINUS diodes, insulated from each other like a sandwich with a circuit board for circuit connections between diodes and coil connectors, are screwed tightly on the facing. MINUS diodes are in direct metallic contact with the facing through their mounts.
