摘要 The multi-needle embroidery sewing machine has at least one sewing machine head (101), with a number of needle shafts (105) and a matching number of thread holding levers (107). A corresponding number of thread deflection sections are upstream of the thread holding levers (107) in the thread movement paths. The assembly has thread holders matching the thread deflection sections. The position of the thread holders can be changed all together. The thread deflection sections have two bodies with thread manipulating surfaces, each with a thread opening, and a gap between them which bridges a slit at the center thread guide surface (115) over the thread holder assembly. The thread holders have a carrier shaft, mounted between carrier plates to give rotation and an axial sliding movement. The thread holders are on the shaft, matching the number of thread holding levers (107). The thread holders have a coil spring, a stop, and a spring tension adjuster. An Independent claim is included for a lockstitch machine with rotating bodies at curved sections of upper threads (a), in the thread paths near the thread holding levers for the threads to pass round them. Preferred Features: The rotating bodies are rollers at thread monitors, upstream from the thread holding levers. The threads are deflected by the rollers towards the holding levers. Or they are rollers where the threads move along the rollers. The thread holding levers can have holding sections at deflection paths upstream of the levers, where the thread paths carry them to the levers through the thread holders and the rotating bodies.
