The invention relates to an electrically actuated automotive disc brake, comprising a caliper (10) and an actuator (12) disposed on said caliper, and two friction linings (14, 14') interacting with a disc brake (16). The actuator is provided with an electric motor (20) and with a transmission unit (22) for converting the rotational movement of the electric motor into a translational movement for the friction linings. The electric motor has a stator (24) with at least one annular stator winding (26, 26'), at the two front faces of which one ring of pole shoes (28a, 28b, 28a', 28b') each is disposed. The radially inner ends of the pole shoes of one ring are interlinked and the radially outer ends of the pole shoes of both rings project laterally on both sides. The electric motor is further provided with a rotor (40) that at least partially encloses the stator, said rotor being coupled to the input side of the transmission unit and carrying magnets (44, 44') that are disposed opposite the pole shoes. |
