PURPOSE: To surely suck an illuminating device, whose light emission body is covered with a colored cap, in the same way as sucking other electronic parts so as to mount it on a circuit board. CONSTITUTION: An illumination device is provided with a case 1 for holding a light emission body 2 such as a lamp and the light emission body 2 is covered with a colored cap 20. A flat face 23 is formed on the top (α) of the cap 20. The flat face 23 is sucked by a suction nozzle 25 of an automatic mounting machine so that the illumination device A2 is surely sucked and transferred to a circuit board. A curved part 24 is formed between the cylinder part 21 of the cap 20 and the flat face 23 so that transmission efficiency of light component which transmits diagonally to the front of this curved part 24 is improved and the lowering of light distribution function caused by formation of the flat face 23 can be prevented. |
