PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera the convenience of which can be enhanced. SOLUTION: In the case that image information denoting an object image is acquired by a CCD 14 and the image information is recorded in a recording medium 43, a retina pattern as biological information of a predetermined kind and parameter information predetermined by a user corresponding to the biological information are stored in advance in cross-reference with each other, a biological information sensor 98 senses the biological information of the predetermined kind, the detected biological information is compared with the biological information above to discriminate whether or not a first memory 38 stores the sensed biological information, and a parameter is set in accordance with the parameter information stored in cross-reference with the biological information when the discrimination indicates that the first memory 38 stores the sensed biological information.
