PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide apparatus for producing sausage suppressing production of defective products caused by untightening of a twisting section of the sausage. SOLUTION: The invention relates to the apparatus for producing sausage comprising a charging device 12 charging filler into a tubular body such as a sheep casing, hog casing or an artificial casing, etc., and setting up a twisted section 34 on the tubular body with a predetermined interval to continuously form and send out a plurality of sausages 44 linked together like beads, a plurality of hooking members 30 traveling a region 20 where the sausage is sent out from the charging device 12 in horizontal direction with a predetermined interval and a hanging device 14 hanging the hooking members on the twisted sections in every sending of a predetermined number of sausages from the charging device, a contact resistance section 40 which is brought into contact with the sausages hooked and held on the hooking members and installed on the downward of the region where the sausage is sent out from the charging device.
