LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY PANEL AND METHOD OF FABRICATING THE SAME

An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to prevent the electric conduction between a data line and a common electrode even while conductive balls of a conductive sealant is contacted with the data line, by removing a portion of the common electrode so that the common electrode is not contacted with the conductive sealant in an overlapping region of the data line and the conductive sealant. An LCD panel comprises a color filter array substrate and a thin film transistor array substrate. The color filter array substrate includes a common electrode(114) and a color filter layer(112). The thin film transistor array substrate includes pixel cells defined by gate lines and data lines. The thin film transistor array substrate is bonded to the color filter array substrate through a conductive sealant. The common electrode is not contacted with the conductive sealant in overlapping regions of the data lines and the conductive sealant.
