PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically confirm a position of information terminal equipment, and to quickly cope with a network fault in a system utilizing a PLC-compatible intelligent outlet. SOLUTION: In the system in which a plurality of PLC router outlets, a monitoring server and a PLC router outlet modem for Internet connection are connected to a power line, each PLC router outlet is provided with a DHCP server means, and an independent sub network is constituted and managed for each PLC router outlet. The monitoring server is provided with a means for monitoring the network traffic of the power line and detecting a PLC information terminal where an abnormality has occurred and a means for transmitting disconnection signals to the PLC router outlet to which the PLC information terminal where the abnormality has occurred is connected. Also, the PCL router outlet is provided with a connection switch for controlling communication signals, and the connection switch is interrupted when receiving the disconnection signals from the monitoring server.
