PURPOSE:To readily obtain of a deodorizing material with a higher deodorizing power and higher safety efficiently by using a liquid culture filtrate of basidiomycetes and or a treated product thereof as main component. CONSTITUTION:Basidiomycetes utilized for obtaining a deodorizing material are usable in any form-preserved strains, commercial seed fungus, that separated from the natural field only if immobilized as such. The strains are cultured using a culture medium available by shake culture, drafting agitation culture or static culture. After the end of the culturing, the separation of a solid is performed fro a liquid to obtain a culture filtrate and a cultured biomass. The generation of the cultured biomass greatly depends on the basidiomycetes and culture conditions. For example, after the extraction of a solvent, the culture filtrate underdoes an ion exchange treatment to achieve colorless deodorizing. When the culture filtrate is used as deodorizing material as intact, sensory deodorizing effect as a fragrant agent can be imparted as several strains are rich in fragrant components especially. |
