PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knee bracket with an inexpensive structure, which freely changes rigidity of the knee bracket without changing the shape, plate thickness and size of a part while achieving a target level of reduction of a damage value of an occupant by reducing load applied to the knee in head-on collision even while shortening a deformation stroke, is applicable commonly to each kind of vehicle, and achieves cost reduction. SOLUTION: The impact absorption knee bracket 1 arranged in the inner side of an instrument panel comprises: an upper frame 2 and a lower frame 3 having front ends fixed to a reinforcement 4 respectively and extending in a vehicle longitudinal direction; and a knee panel 5 joined to rear ends of the upper frame 2 and the lower frame 3. A plurality of holes 6 are provided together on a front half part of the upper frame or the lower frame with an equal interval in a longitudinal direction, and the front half part of the upper frame and the front half part of the lower frame are selectively spot-welded to one position in a non-hole portion.
