PURPOSE:To prevent a printed sheet from being discolored or melted even if the printed sheet is carried at a low speed, by a method wherein air is blown off so as to cross UV rays, in a printing method wherein UV-curing ink is photopolymerized and dried by irradiation of UV rays. CONSTITUTION:Belt-like printing paper 16 from a supply reel 18 is held between a plate cylinder and impression cylinder roller 36, 38 of a printing machine 32 and printing is performed by UV-curing ink stuck to the plate cylinder roller 36. The paper 16 is conveyed in the direction of a UV drier 34 in succession, UV rays are applied to the printed surface and after the UV-curing ink is dried through photopolymerization, the printing paper 16 is wound up around a wind-up roll 20. Then when a conveying speed of the belt-like printing paper 16 becomes a lower speed than a reference speed, compressed air is sent through a compressor, the air is blown off through an air blow-off pipe 42 and sucked through an air suction pipe 44 by crossing over an irradiation path of the UV rays to be irradiated through the UV drier 34. |
