摘要 FIELD: hydraulic engineering, in particular, reprocessing of scrap rubber tires to obtain rubber crumb. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has water jet device provided with at least one nozzle and connected with high-pressure source, mandrel for arranging tire in axial alignment with mandrel and water jet device nozzles at an angle to mandrel axis, with mandrel and/or water jet device being mounted for rotation relative to mandrel axis. It is advised that nozzle axes be positioned in planes parallel with mandrel axis. Mandrel is mounted for rotation in supports. Mandrel may be made in the form of spindle and nozzles may be arranged so that their angle of inclination relative to mandrel axis may be varied. Axes of at least one pair of nozzles may be positioned in plane extending through mandrel axis. Each nozzle of this pair of nozzles may be alternatively switched to high-pressure source. Water jet device may be mounted for rotation about axis coinciding with axis of fixed mandrel or may be connected with reciprocal motion drive or may be moved along mandrel axis. Water jet device may be positioned for rotation about axis intersecting with mandrel axis at an angle with respect to it, or for rotation about axis perpendicular to mandrel axis, or for rotation about axis positioned in plane extending in parallel with mandrel axis. Apparatus may be positioned within splash-proof chamber having partition walls arranged in spaced relation through vertical plane of chamber and provided with cells having sizes decreasing toward chamber bottom. Chamber side surface is provided with discharge openings for water and ground rubber mixture. These openings are made at location where chamber side wall intersects with partition wall and is communicating this chamber with auxiliary chamber, which is also provided with discharge openings for mixture of water and ground rubber of more fine fraction. Auxiliary chamber is, in its turn, hydraulically communicated with water collection vessel. Part of chamber defined by lower partition wall may be connected with low-pressure pump, whose outlet is connected to high-pressure source. Water collection vessel may be connected to low-pressure pump, whose outlet is connected to high-pressure source. EFFECT: increased efficiency of tire treatment, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation.
