The invention relates to the desulfurizer technology field, in particular to a method for preparing a regenerated desulfurizer with high sulfur capacity. The method comprises mixing a solid soluble ferrous salt with a solid hydroxide to yield a first mixture, wherein the molar ratio of iron element in ferrous salt and hydroxyl in the solid hydroxide is 1:2 to 1:3; kneading said first mixture and allowing it to react at a temperature not exceeding 70°C to yield a second mixture; oxidizing said second mixture in the air, and then washing it with water and filtering to yield a third mixture; drying said third mixture in the air or roasting said third mixture to yield the composition comprising amorphous iron oxyhydroxide, wherein the roasting temperature does not exceed 100°C; and mixing said composition with an organic binder. This method makes it possible to overcome difficulties in the existing technologies, for example such that the existing dry desulfurizer has a low sulfur capacity and cannot be regenerated and reused, thus causing waste of active components and environmental pollution. |
