The device of the parent specification is modified in that the pin thereof includes a head formed by a pair of narrow channel shaped sections made of resilient material, the space between the free ends of the legs 41, 42 of the channel-shaped sections being constricted and the shank of the pin being fixed to one leg 41 with up axis at right angles to the leg. As shown, two metal strips 14 for holding a window pane 33 to a support 12 are each snap-engaged betweeen the legs 41, 42 which form part of the head of a pin 11 which is inserted into a resilient socket 10 to expand the socket into engagement with an aperture in the support 12. |
