<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a package box whose wrapping cost can be reduced by overlaying side flaps on a longer and a shorter side of a cubic package box made of a cardboard to make a double structure and providing a cut slightly larger than a hand width at an approximately center portion of the longer side to form a handle. CONSTITUTION:This is a package box shaped in a rectangle on a plane for housing a product 2, wherein its upper end is closed by flaps 7 to 10 connected to upper ends of four side plates 3 to 6. Both the flap 8 and a plate part 11 provides a double structure respectively in conjunction with a plate part 15 overlaid on the flap 8 and a plate part 13 overlaid outside the plate part 11. A pair of cuts are formed at an approximately center position of a longer side of the package box with an interval slightly larger than a hand width on the plate part 11 and the plate part 13 overlaid outside, wherein a part is folded from the cuts to come into contact with a lower part of the flap 8, providing a handle. Cuts are formed an the tip of the flaps 7, 9, so that a hand can be put into a hole 20 positioned immediately above the cuts to allow the hand to hold the plate parts being the handle.</p> |
