The seal is formed as a flat ring and positioned between a sealing surface of the cap and one of the tank. Both surfaces of the seal are profiled, and each has at least two circular sealing edge rolls. The seal has a concave shape, as seen from the cap. In non-tensioned condition, the seal is positioned in the cap with sufficient play that at least one of its circumferences engages on the seal when tensioned. The seal consists of material with a Shore hardness C >30, e.g. interlaced polyethylene, polyamide, polyurethane.
