PURPOSE: To prevent deterioration in image quality due to out of synchronism. CONSTITUTION: A composite video signal is converted into digital video signal by an A/D converter section 1 and right eye video image and left eye video image video signals are respectively written in a right eye image storage section 21 and a left eye image storage section 22 . A video signal read from the right eye image storage section 21 is stored in a right eye buffer section 3a1 and a left eye buffer section 3b2 by a control signal from a control section 5. Furthermore, a video signal read from the left eye image storage section 22 is stored in a left eye buffer section 3b1 and a right eye buffer section 3a2 . Furthermore, an inter-field horizontal synchronizing signal read from the right eye buffer section 2a2 is synthesized with the video signal of the right eye buffer section 3a1 by a control signal from the control section 5. Thus, video signal for the right eye video image and the same for left eye video image having the horizontal synchronizing signal in compliance with the standards of the NTSC system are generated. |
