A diaminodiphenylmethane containing at least 96% of the title isomer is prepared by reacting 1 mole CH 2 O with 1À4-6 moles PhNH 2 in presence of 30-100% of the acid required to react with all of the latter, the acid being also sufficient to give a single reaction phase, by conducting the PhNH 2 +acid continuously through a conduit and injecting CH 2 O into the flowing stream at at least 3 points along the conduit. |
