PURPOSE:To designate a receiver person out of an address list in an electronic mail system. CONSTITUTION:An address list designating part 16 of a work station 11 adds the logical operator designated by a user to the information on an address list. A receiver address list producing part 18 of a mail server 12 performs a set operation based on the logical operator added to the received address information and produces an address set to be actually transmitted. A mail allotting part 19 allots the mails to the mail boxes corresponding to the receiver addresses.
