<p>Device for the moving forwards of wire in a welding gun, comprises a roller through which the wire is passed centrally, and which is rotated. In the roller are fitted two small rolls, the axes of rotation of which are offset relative to the axis of movement of the wire and the axis of rotation of the roller in which they are mounted. Thus, when the small rolls are rotated, when the main roller is rotated, the wire, which is engaged by them as the result of their pressing against it from opposite sides, is propelled forwards. The device is compact and light and permits variation of the speed of feeding.</p> |
