The central station sends a start pulse followed by a series of message pulses, the start pulse causing the generation, in the receiver, of a reference series of message pulses ("scanning pulses") which is compared with the transmitted series to perform a control action or equality. The central station may interpolate a reset pulse between any two of the message pulses (or lengthen one of the latter) and coincidence of this with any of a series of interpolated pulses in the reference series causes reset.</p> |
