Plastics slide clasp fastener - with coupling members formed from endless zig zag filament and shanks of members forming pockets for warp yarns

Slide clasp fastener in which the coupling members are formed from an endless filament which is deformed in a zig-zag manner to provide the members with interlocking heads which overlap each other in a locking manner has each of the members formed by juxtaposed shanks and the shanks of adjacent members are spaced from each other to provide a pocket in which are located warp yarns. Following completion of the fastener in which the carrier tapes are either knitted or woven integrally with the coupling members the fastener is free of shrinking stresses which in prior art fasteners have been introduced during a shrinking process.
