The separate pens in the cattle shall have a feeding trough (1) and are divided by side-uprights (2). A top beam (3) runs across the pens and has suspended from it a yoke (4). The yoke consists of side struts (5) and a bracket (6) hinged to it. The bracket (6) is anchored to the ground by a chain (7). The struts (5) are hinged at the top to angle levers (9) by means of links (8). The levers (9) are pivot-mounted on the top-beam. The operating device (10) for the opening and closure-procedure consists of a board connected to the pivot-mounted lever. The operating-device (10) hangs down in the gap between the open side-struts (5). One arm of the angle-lever (9) has the side-struts suspended from it, and the other arm is connected to the operating-device.
