<p>This disclosure is concerned with a novel limp, low-pressure-drop catalytic mat, particularly adapted for use in ignitible gas-flow systems, such as heated hair curlers and the like, comprising in preferred form a loosely packed quartz fiber mat to the fibers of which have been adhered oxide particles as of alumina and the like, coated with platinum catalytic particles, without, however, impairing the limpness, looseness and flexibility of the mat.</p> |
