PURPOSE:To provide a lubricant composition containing water, a polyhydric alcohole and a disaccharide as active components, and capable of imparting lubricity and sealing property to the sliding part to prevent the leak of gas and liquefied gas. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition contains (A) 100 pts.(wt.) of water and/or polyhydric alcohol (preferably glycerol) and (B) 43-1,900 pts. of a disaccharide (preferably reduced maltose), as active components.
