The invention relates to a device for connecting reinforcement bars which will find its application particularly in public works companies for ensuring the continuity of the metal reinforcement for concrete of various coverings or mass concrete elements, which makes it possible to fix at the end of a reinforcement bar, embedded in a mass concrete element and protruding for connection, a second reinforcement bar which will consequently also be embedded in a poured concrete element. According to the invention, the connection device 3 is made up of a sleeve 5 fixed at the end of the embedded reinforcement bar 2, the said sleeve 5 being fitted flush in the mass concrete element 1, and of a ring 6 integral in translation with the reinforcement bar 4 to be connected but free in rotation with respect to the latter, capable of being connected on the sleeve 5 by rotation. The invention will find its application especially in the building of reinforced concrete building shells. <IMAGE>
