PURPOSE:To reduce the components of the mechanism which opens or closes a modifying arm and lighten a suction head by performing the opening and closing of the modifying arm by the sliding of the shaft component inserted inside a tubular guide and the sleeve overlaid outside. CONSTITUTION:When a suction head 22 stops in the suction position, air is supplied to an upper chamber 43 through an air pump 46, and an outer shaft 32 and a guide shaft 51 start to fall. By this fall, the periphery of the outer shaft 32 contacts with a cam part 69, and a modifying arm 63a starts to open. When the outer shaft 32 abuts on a damper 40, an inner shaft 33 also starts to fall, and a suction nozzle 41 projects downward from between catching pieces 67. When the inner shaft 33 is stroked to the lowermost position and the suction nozzle 41 sucks chip parts, air is supplied into the lower chamber 44 at the same time with the exhaust of the upper chamber 43. Hereby, the outer shaft 32 starts to go up and also the inner shaft 33 goes up, too, and the chip components are picked up. |
