PURPOSE:To maintain highly operation stability in regard to a dry road surface and improve the performance of anti-hydroplaning in regard to a wet road surface. CONSTITUTION:Linear peripheral grooves 2, 3 extending in a tread peripheral direction are provided at a tread portion 1, and at the same time plural units of width direction grooves 4 extending to the vicinity portion of a pattern center from a tread end are provided, and these width direction grooves 4, when viewed from the front of a tire at a furnished posture, exist in extension obliquely upward gradually toward the tread end from the pattern center vicinity portion. A width direction groove is formed with each of width direction main grooves 5 and width direction sub grooves 6, and its width direction main groove is composed of a steep inclination portion 7 that forms an angle of the range of 10-30 deg., a gentle inclination portion 8 of 60-80$0 and a bent portion 9, and its sub groove is composed of an inclination groove that exists extendingly in approximate parallel with the gentle inclination portion 8 and opens to each of the tread end and the steep inclination portion 7. |
