PURPOSE: To easily recognize the numbers of respective articles which are displayed in an article display place at any time and to prevent replenishment, etc., from being delayed without placing any load on a person in charge of article display management in an article supply place. CONSTITUTION: Each time an article code given to each article supplied from a kitchen 6 to an article display rack 1 is read by a resonance tag reader 12 for display management, the numbers of supplied articles are counted and stored, article by article. Further, each time an article code given to each article carried out of the article display rack 1 to a cashier place 5 is read by a resonance tag reader 13 for account settlement, the numbers of articles which are carried are counted and stored, article by article. Then the number of displayed articles are calculated, article by article, from the numbers of supplied articles and the number of carried articles, and the number of articles which are displayed is displayed, article by article, on a display unit 16 for the kitchen and reported. |
