PURPOSE: To prevent the deterioration of the sensor of a toner detector for an electrophotographic device, to extend durability, to prevent an erroneous detection caused by the pressure of wire and to make possible a stable cleaning. CONSTITUTION: The holding case 11 of a detecting sensor is provided to be projected from the inner wall surface of a toner chamber, and a diaphragm 10 with thickness t of <=0.3mm is provided inward from the surface of the holding case 11. The projected part of the holding case 11 is made to be wider than a cleanable area (A×B) by the part 13a of a cleaning spring wire 13, which is extended in parallel with the holding case 11, so that deflection is not caused at the cleaning spring wire 13. |
