The system includes a broadcasting information data output section(17) for seperating broadcasting information data in a composite video signal, a synchronous signal seperating circuit(1) for seperating the synchronous signal from the composite video signal, a combining section(13) for combining the synchronous signal and broadcasting information data, a switching section(15) for selectively outputting the output signal of the combining section and composite video signal, a controller(16) for controlling the operation of the switch and the output level of the broadcasting information data output section, a decoder(14) for decoding the broadcasting information data, and a video signal processor(18) for processing the video signal.
