The secured storage system for bicycles has a cylindrical unit 12 supported on a central pillar 13 and has a number of radially accessible storage compartments 16. Boxes 25r are supported on vertical guides and the bicycles are loaded in the vertical position with the wheels attached to hooks 23. The box is then raised by an electric motor 31 until it is fully inserted into the storage units. Once inserted it is totally enclosed. Access to the system is controlled by a unit 15 having a keyboard and an entry slot for coins. An increase in capacity can be provided by having a double row of storage compartments.
