PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily take power from a cigar lighter socket by detachably fixing, a different cap in the front end of a plug main body according to the diameter of a socket main body when power is taken out by inserting the non-conductive plug main body into the cylindrical conductive socket main body. SOLUTION: If the socket main body 22 of a cigar lighter socket 21 provided in a vehicle has a minimum diameter, a plug main body 34 having a non- conductive first cap 75 fixed in its front end is inserted into the socket main body 22, a head contact 36 is repulstively contacted with a fixed terminal 23, a second leaf spring 352 functioning as a contact is contacted with the inner surface of the socket main body 22 and then power is taken out of a connecting cord. If the diameter of the socket main body 22 is relatively large, a plug main body 34 having a non-conductive second cap having an engaging projection fixed in its front end is inserted into the socket main body 22, the second leaf spring 352 is contacted lightly with the inner surface of the socket main body 22, the engaging projection is engaged with a bimetal 24 and power is taken out of the connecting cord.
