PURPOSE: To take the protection of the environment and the natural resource of the earth into consideration by enabling a trial printing action to be executed on an identical recording paper over and over again. CONSTITUTION: In a trial printing mode, a supply roller 15 is advanced and made to abut on a developing sleeve 6 so as to open a motor-driven shutter 12a by a control part 19. Besides, the heat of a heat roller 17a in a fixing device 17 is cooled. Thus, trial toner 2 is supplied to the sleeve 6. Then, a trial toner image is formed on a photorecepter drum 4 and transferred on the recording paper 7. Thereafter, it is cold-pressed and fixed by the fixing device 17. When a user views the fixed image printing and judges that it must be corrected, a printing pattern is erased by using an eraser and the like and the trial printing action is executed again by using this recording paper. In a main printing mode, a supply roller 16 is advanced and made to abut on the sleeve 6 so as to open a motor-driven shutter 13a. Then, the roller 17a in the fixing device 17 is heated. |
