PURPOSE: A sludge type waste dryer using a waste tire pyrolysis system is provided to shorten the drying time of waste matter by applying at least two and more different drying methods sequentially according to changes in the water content of waste matter. CONSTITUTION: Sludge type waste matter is supplied into a container of a rotary drum dryer(400). A hot wind is blown to a rotary drum through a pyrolysis device(100) and a mixing chamber(600) to be heated at high temperature. The waste tire pyrolysis device cracks waste tires contacted with a heating pipe by heating the heating pipe with preheating burner. The flame is supplied to the mixing chamber. A pure oxygen feeder is installed on a side of the mixing chamber to prevent pollutants by igniting non-burnt gas. The hot air is distributed by a hot wind distributor and blown through a hot wind guide path of a hot wind guide plate to heat the entire surface of the rotary drum regularly. The waste matter is dried on the heated surface of the rotary drum and then piled upon a hopper(227). Steam is discharged through a hood and a duct while the hot wind is discharged through a heat exchanger or blown to an air pollution prevention unit(700) for removing odor and pollutants. The waste matter is dried with low cost by using thermal energy from waste tires.
