Potatoes are cut and fried in rendered fat, onions and carrots are cut and browned in margarine, string beans are cut and frozen, wheat flour is browned in margarine. Then, in oxygen-free atmosphere, potatoes, onions, carrots, string beans, wheat flour, sour cream, sugar, salt and black pepper are mixed to produce garnish.
