A motor and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to facilitate a control of coupling dimensions between a stator and a base by using an adhesive of film type. A motor comprises a stator(100), a base(300), and coupling layer. The stator comprises a main body(102) of annular type, a teeth(104), and a protrusion(106). A coil(108) is wounded in the teeth. The protrusion is extended to both sides of an end of the teeth. The base supports the stator. The coupling layer is positioned between the main body and the protrusion, adheres the stator to the base, and includes a thermal melting film(200) of annular type. An opening(202) is formed in the thermal melting film according to a position of the coil. The thermal melting film includes a thermosetting resin. The thermosetting resin includes at least one among an epoxy resin and a phenol resin.
