PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome a conventional problem that when pattern matching is performed on a picked-up image of a moving object, a position of the object at timing at which the matching is performed differs from an actual position.SOLUTION: An image processing method of the present invention comprises: a step of regularly imaging an object moving relatively to a camera by using the camera, and transmitting the picked-up image to an image processor; a step of performing a preprocessing on the picked-up image; a step of performing sequential matching between a plurality of teaching models for detecting the object and the preprocessed image; a step of acquiring a matching degree of the preprocessed image; and a step of setting a position of the object in the preprocessed image to a position of the object in a field of view of the camera when the matching degree exceeds a designated threshold, the sequential matching between the plurality of teaching models and the preprocessed image including sequentially switching the teaching models thereamong in accordance with a cycle in which the camera images the object before performing the matching.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
