PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound source direction estimation device capable of highly precisely estimating a direction of a sound source without decreasing an upper limit of a measurable frequency.SOLUTION: First to fourth microphones M1-M4 which are not on a straight line to each other are disposed on a flat plate 12, and a fifth microphone M5 is disposed at an intersection point of diagonal lines of a quadrangle that has vertexes corresponding to the positions of the first to fourth microphones M1-M4. A direction of a sound source is estimated on the basis of, for each of two microphone pairs, an arrival time difference of a sound pressure signal to be input into each microphone constituting one microphone pair of the two microphone pairs, an arrival time difference of a sound pressure signal to be input into each microphone constituting the other microphone pair, and positional coordinates of the microphones and a sound speed, the two microphone pairs being selected among the 5 microphones M1-M5, having different microphone intervals and being not on the same straight line.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
