Method of producing a luminous component, comprising the following steps: a) a translucent plastic having a cavity is provided; b) an electronic circuit including light-emitting diodes is placed in the cavity; and c) the cavity is filled with a translucent sealant in order to encapsulate the electronic circuit. The method of producing the luminous component may alternatively comprise the following steps: a) a thermoplastic mould having a cavity is provided; b) an electronic circuit including light-emitting diodes is placed in the cavity; and c) the cavity is filled with a translucent sealant in order to encapsulate the electronic circuit. |
