The apparatus is used to increase the range of linearity of the characteristic of pneumatic measuring devices, so that they may be directly used as measurement control devices. This aim is achieved by use of a second air jet of the same characteristics as the main jet, so as to produce changes in pressure which are the same or accurately proportional to the imbalance. A pneumatic cascade regulator is provided and the pressure balance is held in equilibrium so that the output from the measuring device is directly proportional to the quantity to be measured. |
