1,233,871. Filing papers. W. LENNARTZ. 17 Feb., 1970 [7 March, 1969], No. 7453/70. Heading B6E. A document filing folder of transparent synthetic plastic material and comprising covers 12, 14 with an inwardly folding back 6 which carries a filing device such as a sheet-engaging flexible strip and is received in a suspension rail 15, is formed from a pressed-flat tube 4 having thickened fold regions 1, 2, the fold region 1 being cut at 5 to provide reinforced edges to the cover parts 3, and the fold at the other region 2 being pushed inwards to form the part 6. Thus the folded in parts 7, 8 and the parts 11, 13 of the covers 12, 14 adjacent to the back are thicker than the main parts of the covers. Perforations 10 in the parts 7, 8 receive a flexible filing strip. Suspension files.-The rail 15 is clamped on the back of the folder and has known fitted end pieces (16, Fig. 1) which compress the flanges of the rail and by which the rail is suspended in a cabinet. Index devices.-A coloured marking strip 9 may be inserted between the fold parts 7, 8 and secured by the filing strip passing through perforations therein. Alternatively, a U-shaped marking may be fitted over the outer sides of the parts 7, 8. The rail 15 may have an inscription strip or riders thereon. |
