<p>1322227 Rotary refuse incinerators KEBE ANSTALT FUR VERTRIEB VON ANLAGEN FUR KEHRICHTBESEITIGUNG 8 July 1970 [9 July 1969] 33066/70 Heading F4B A rotary refuse incinerator 1, to which garbage is fed from hopper 3, and which discharges ash and incombustibles into a hopper 6A, is provided over at least part of its interior with grid means consisting of radial bars 10 supporting longitudinal, radially-spaced bars 11 which divide it into at least three longitudinally extending passages through which the garbage flows in counterflow to combustion gases from burner 8. The grid means extends over half the length of the incinerator and is positioned at its central portion. The provision of three, four, six and eight such longitudinally extending passages is mentioned. The bars of the bar sets may be solid, or hollow so that cooling air or water may be passed therethrough.</p> |
