A camera with a trigger operated by a membrane, is as in 1597046. It is easy to operate and the system gives good protection from unintended operation, whilst being simple to produce. The membrane (2) which forms the trigger for operation by the finger of the operator is formed in one piece with a support (4) of plastics material, the support forming a raised rim round the membrane. The outer rim of the support may have elastic lugs projecting radially outwards or may be threaded on the outside to permit insertion in the camera body.
