PURPOSE: To judge the phase difference of data by comparing selection data extracted for every several bits from first serial digital data with second serial digital data and performing output when they match. CONSTITUTION: In a selection data extraction part 1, for one of first serial digital data and second serial digital data input, the data are selectively extracted for every several bits. Then, in a comparison part 2, the data extracted in the selection data extraction part 1 are compared with the other one of the first serial digital data and second serial digital data input. When both data match, by outputting that effect, the phase difference of the first and second serial digital data is judged. Thus, for instance, the phase difference to be an error generation factor at the time of line changeover in a multiplex system is easily judged regardless of the presence/absence of the periodicity of signals. |
