PURPOSE:To reduce the quantity of burrs produced on the back surface of a plate workpiece to be sawn by a fret saw teeth by setting height of the cutting teethlower by VF/2NS than the return teeth of a fret saw. CONSTITUTION:A fret sawing machine elevationally moves from the bottom dead point to the top dead point thereof, and a workpiece 1 to be sawn moves in the meantime in the distance of VF/2NS. Since the return teeth D is higher by VF/2NS than the cutting teeth C, the workpiece 1 is cut in the distance of VF/NS as the sum of the moved amount of the workpiece 1 by the return teeth D and the amount of the return teeth D preceded from the cutting teeth C (VF/2NS), where VF: the feeding speed (mm/min.) of the workpiece, NS: the reciprocating speed (strokes/min.) of the saw teeth. Thus, there occurs a zone Y1' having no burr no the back surface of the workpiece 1. |
